BETRAYAL by Harold Pinter

River Rep ensemble members Arthur Aulisi (The Catastrophist), Donna Jean Fogel (Every Brilliant Thing) and Christopher Peditto (‘Art’) form the “eternal triangle” in Harold Pinter’s famed masterwork, BETRAYAL.
Emma, Robert and Jerry have history. As her marriage to Robert comes to an end, Emma reconnects with Jerry, her former lover—and her husband’s best friend—as the action thrillingly unspools backwards in time, in reverse chronological order.
With poetic precision and rich humor, the complexities of the human heart are explored in this, “the greatest, and the most moving, of all Pinter’s plays” (The Telegraph).
Aulisi, Fogel and Peditto will be joined by Thomas Cambridge (Tomorrow Today) as the Waiter.

Is AI our friend or foe? Is the convergence of man and machine upon us? And what happens when the systems powering our world break down and go crazy? In the World premiere dark comedy TOMORROW TODAY, based on the AI-inspired writings of award-winning author Paul Peditto, six interwoven stories explore mankind’s complex and ever-evolving relationship with ”superintelligent” machines.

Based on the classic coming-of-age novel by Michael Ende, this modern fairy tale follows a lonely boy with a love of books who becomes drawn into a timeless world of fabulous creatures — a world that only he can save from certain destruction.
Directed by Christopher Peditto. Adapted by David S. Craig. Featuring Arthur Aulisi, Cass Collins, Luna Ditacchio, Tibor Feldman, Andrew Kitson, Lexee McEntee, Cooper Quinn, Oliver Schumacher, Malcolm Strother, Crystal Tweed, and Waverly Van Aalsburg. Chekhov is alive and well in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where adult siblings Vanya and Sonia reside in their old family home, mourning their lost dreams and missed opportunities. After their soothsayer/maid Cassandra warns Vanya and Sonia of impending doom, their movie star sister, Masha, arrives unexpectedly, accompanied by her hunky young lover Spike. When Masha reveals plans that will upend the family, long-repressed resentments bubble over in a weekend full of wild costume parties, voodoo dolls and surprise romance.
