Unleash your child's creativity with River Rep Jr.!

The River Rep Jr. Fall 2026 Workshop is a fun and exciting way for kids to explore their imagination and develop essential life skills that extend far beyond the stage.

What are the benefits of the Workshop?

  • Learn how to express yourself artistically, through fun-filled games, exercises, scene work, improv, and more!

  • Lean how to connect with your emotions to bring characters to life.

  • Boosts self-confidence and builds communication skills: Acting requires clear articulation and expression, improving both verbal and non-verbal communication, which is invaluable in school and social settings.

  • Develops empathy & emotional intelligence: By embodying different characters, children gain a deeper understanding of emotions, motivations, and diverse perspectives, fostering compassion and tolerance.

  • Learn how to collaborate: Acting is a collaborative art form. Students learn how to interact with peers, to compromise, and to work as a group to bring stories to life.

  • Resilience and adaptability: Navigating unexpected moments in the classroom and performances teaches children to think on their feet and adapt.

  • Experienced instructors create a nurturing and supportive environment where every child feels empowered to explore, take risks, and grow as a creative individual. The Workshop will be taught by River Rep co-artistic directors Arthur Aulisiand Christopher Peditto, as well as guest artist instructors, exploring a wide range of theater techniques.

  • A Family & Friends Performance of scenes, worked on over the 10 week course, will take place on December 5 at 2pm (the final day of class).
