River Rep Theatre and The Homestead School are excited to partner in offering after school drama programs at The Homestead in Glen Spey, NY. Classes are open to the public.
MUSICAL THEATER AND ACTING (ages 9-12)
Acting classes can play an essential role in building self-esteem and self-confidence in kids. Starting with fun-filled games, students will learn core principles of acting. Students choose their own song, monologue or scene from a popular play or musical, and then rehearse their scenes with direction from instructor Christopher Peditto (drama teacher, Homestead School). Songs and scenes worked on are strung together into a short program performed by students for family and friends, on the last day of class.
INTERSHIPS (ages 13-17)
Students can get hands-on production experience working alongside River Rep artist professionals, learning lights, costume, set, and sound design. Email us, below, for more details.
