Corporate donors make a difference
In three short years, River Rep Theatre has emerged as one of the more formidable professional theatre companies in the Sullivan Catskills. Now officially a 501(c)3, River Rep is seeking corporate donors to take us to the next level.
River Rep presents adventurous, thought-provoking and entertaining theater to an otherwise underserved community, offering a mix of classic plays, regional premieres of Broadway’s finest new works, and new plays written by and for the company. Not just a seasonal venue, River Rep is a year-round destination and valued, creative asset to the community.
This Spring, the company presented the fantasy classic, The Neverending Story. The play was a hit with both audiences and critics (read Jonathan Charles Fox’s review in The River Reporter). River Rep employed more than 15 theatre artists, with several making their professional debuts, both on stage and behind the scenes (see production photos).
Our Fall production will be the award-winning comedy Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike. Support for this production will fuel the second half of our 2025 season, and allow us to launch River Rep Jr. — a Workshop for young performers, that fills a void for youth in need of an artistic outlet — and additional programming (staged readings and late night series) throughout the Winter when live entertainment is so desperately needed in the area.
As a community-supported, non-profit organization, River Rep Theatre relies entirely on grants, ticket sales, and private and corporate donors. Help us bring essential arts programming to underserved local communities by becoming a corporate donor, today!
